Bachelor`s degree

I studied for Bachelor`s degree in English Language at Pedagogical University named after Nizami from 2007 to 2011. During this period, I set up foundation in English language studies, exploring areas such as linguistics, literary analysis, and language teaching methodologies. My affection towards teaching first emerged through my practice lessons in my fourth year.

Master`s degree

I received a master`s degree from Pedagogical University, where I further specialized in English literature, arts of pedagogical psychology, philosophy and language stylistics. My studies included advanced course work in phonetics, syntax, semantics and language acquisition, which equipped me with theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for effective language instruction.

CELTA Certificate

I have completed the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), which is an internationally recognized qualification awarded by Cambridge English language assessment. Obtaining the CELTA certification has furnished me with a diverse range of skills and strategies in terms of teaching adult learners.

Current PhD research in English Literature

I am an independent PhD researcher at present in English literature, with focus on comparative literary genres. My doctoral research explores the contrast between odes and qasidas aiming to contribute new insights to the field of English literature and enables me to integrate contemporary literary analysis into the classroom.

Teaching Experience

I began my teaching career in 2011 and so far have gained experience across various educational establishments and institutions. My journey as an educator has provided me with diverse teaching opportunities. Over the years, I have worked with students of different age groups, from school-age to adult learners, and have engaged with individuals from a variety of cultural backgrounds. This experience has enriched my skills and broadened my horizon of different educational environments.

State & Private Schools

My first teaching experience began at State School #20 in the Shayxontohur district, Tashkent, where I engaged secondary school students in the delivery of a comprehensive English curriculum, emphasizing grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills. Subsequently, at "Erudite Education" in Tashkent, I achieved many positive outcomes by teaching younger age groups, specifically 7- to 10-year-olds. This role led me to adopt more innovative teaching methodologies and effectively apply my psychological insights during challenging moments with the children.

Uzbek State World Languages University

One of the most significant experiences in my career has been my tenure at Uzbek State World Languages University (UzSWLU). Teaching undergraduate students allowed me to engage deeply in advanced research and explore innovative teaching methodologies. As a lecturer, I taught a variety of courses, including Integrated Skills (IS), Listening & Speaking (LS), and Typology, as well as conducting practice classes. My responsibilities also included mentoring students, supervising their research projects and diploma works, and actively participating in conferences and teacher training sessions. Additionally, I organized a wide range of academic and social events to engage students, such as guest lectures by experts in fields like medicine and religion, cultural festivals, and role plays.

Language schools

After five years in higher education, I decided to further develop my teaching skills at language learning centers. I first worked at "Merit", where I mastered my skills of innovative teaching tools and educational online games. The next stage of my career path was at "Inter Nation" English School, which provided the opportunity to work with teenagers and adults and support their academic growth through personalized instruction and targeted feedback.

During my time at Inter Nation Language School, I held dual roles as an ESL teacher and IELTS instructor. In addition to teaching, the school provided me with opportunities to enhance my skills, develop up-to-date curricula, and consistently adapt teaching programs. I actively collaborated with assistant teachers to share resources, exchange ideas, and support them to strengthen theories given by me through hidden curricula.

Through my dedication to creating effective teaching methodologies and designing specialized IELTS programs, I have been fortunate to see my students achieve success. Implementing innovative strategies has helped improve their IELTS results. Additionally, I have learned to manage multilevel classrooms and worked to create a positive and inclusive environment for my students.

Finally, I started working at my dream workplace - Westminster International University in Tashkent. Ever since I first learned of its presence in the city, it has been my ultimate aspiration. Being a part of this institution energizes me and inspires me to strive for even greater achievements. It is a place that truly deserves my full dedication, as it embodies everything I have aspired to achieve. This role fills me with energy and motivates me to strive for greater success. At my dream job, I contribute by teaching Professional Identity to university students, guiding them in identifying the essential skills needed for their professional growth and success. Additionally, I teach the Basics of Academic English to Pre-Foundation Level students, equipping them with the foundational language skills required for academic excellence
